Denver setup?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got a call from my friend in Denver asking about setup questions. He's having some truss rod related issues and needs some work done by a competent and trustworthy tech. I told him I was ask here for any good advice. I'm in DC and know nothing about Denver. So anyone in the Denver area know of a good tech that can help out a fellow low ender?
By the way, he took it to GC and they; in standard GC fashion tried to sodomize him. So he came to me...and I come to you.

I like the folks at Woodsongs Lutherie, upstairs from H.B. Woodsongs in Boulder. They're on Pearl between 28th and 30th. Phone 303.449.0550

Don't know anyone closer to Denver than that.

Colfax Guitar Shop

Howdy,

He could check with Scott Baxendale at Colfax Guitar Shop, it's across the street from the Bluebird Theater. http://colfaxguitarshop.com/ I've always had great work from that shop.

Hope it helps.

Does he need actual work done on the bass or just a setup/adjustment?

The reason that I'm asking is, if he just needs a setup, I'm playing in Littleton on Friday, if he were to show up at the gig, I'd do it for free. There's no cover.

I've been playing 30 years and do setup's as good as anyone. It's really quite easy if the bass is in decent condition.
