Direct replacement bridge for Fender MIM Standard Jazz V 5-string?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've done a search -- Nothing came up.

Does anyone know if there is a direct replacement bridge for the Fender MIM Standard Jazz Bass V 5-string?

The screw holes on this bass are not the same as on the "vintage" Fender bridge. There are three screws along the back and two at the corners on the neck side of the saddles.

Click this link to see a nice *big* picture of what it looks like:

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Anyone find anything on this yet? I'm still not finding anything. If there isn't anything, does anyone know of a solid, low cost bridge with very little fitting needed?

Thanks!

I noticed the Hipshots have the three holes, but wasn't sure if they lined up exactly with the existing three holes in the Jazz V. I'll assume by your succinct answer that they do.

Also, I noticed that the Schaeller 496 has three holes in roughly the same position. Does anyone know if they would line up with the holes in the Jazz V?

Thanks!

Nope. Have one on my MIM Deluxe 5. Badass V has 6 screws along the back. It's a simple install though.
