Hey I was wondering how people maintained to keep their bridge and saddles nice and mint clean when the dust and dirt gets in there. Do I have to take it all out or is there another way to get it looking spot on again?

I blast it & other areas(PUs, fretboard, tuners, etc)w/an air nozzle(hooked up to an air compressor). Every couple of years or so I'll disassemble my bridge & scrub it w/an old toothbrush & Windex(ammonia-based cleaner). I'm not so much concerned w/cleanliness as much as keep everything functional.

whenever i do a re-string/set up i give the bass a once over.

i usually use canned air that you would use for cleaning the computer. whatever i can't get off with that, i will wipe it down with a q-tip.

usually do this with my quarterly set up.
