Do Fender neck fit Rondo bodies?

Sign in to disble this ad
My buddy wants to sell me a Fender jazz neck for cheap and I would like to make a backup frankenstein out of rondo and Fender parts - eventually building a frankenstein Fender. The question is will the Fender neck fit the Rondo pocket?

I did the same thing and found that it's a close fit. You might need to do a tiny bit of sanding. One thing to keep in mind though is that there are probably small but noticeable variations in the actual pocket dimensions on the SX's that you might have to deal with. Nothing, however, that can't be overcome if you're intrepid enough to begin your frankenbass career.

Ok great! Sounds like I better get rockin' on this project - thanks for the wisdom and wish me luck.
