Does a J bass bridge cover fit a P bass??

OK, so I've got a Mexican-made P bass and I'm thinking of putting bridge and bridge covers on my bass for a vintage vibe! So I looked up the bridge covers for old Ps and they are so wimpy (in my opinion) but I mean the Jazz has a MANLY bridge cover, so my question is will it fit my P bass? Thanks!

yes, but it will look horrible IMO.

on the lakland site, has a few p's w/ pup covers, like the 44-64 (formerly the Bob Glaub). i think they look pretty tight!
