Drilling holes for bridge placement

Hi there,

Did some searching and found a lot on bridges but not quite what is was looking for.

So here goes:

I ordered a Schaller 3-D4 bridge for my J bass which has three mounting holes while the bass itself has five.

I already read that some drilling is involved to make it fit but wouldn't know the best way to go about it.

So could someone elaborate on this?
