Queens of the Stone Age fan?

I guess it's safe for the neck, but I would buy some heavier guage (gauge?) strings just to be sure.

I have a BC Rich Warlock and a P-Bass that I play almost exclusively in C with heavy gauge strings... no problems at all.

The only thing the neck may require is some adjusting, but other than that, you'll be fine.
