Drop tuning truss rod question.

Sign in to disble this ad
We play drop C# and my bass gets super clanky. Should I set up my relief with the truss rod according to the measurements on those sites (mr. gearhead) while my bass is in the drop tuning? After that, if my bass still rattles then adjust bridge for action?

Thanks..

Some people buy a 5 string set and tune their bass BEAD. Then you can set the truss rod and bridge to that tuning and not worry about retuning and re-adjusting things.
