dual truss rod adjustment advice?

I own a 6 string and have some bad fret buzz on the lower frets, I want to adjust the truss rod but have never done it on a 6 so I'm just a little timid. Would changing the strings be another solution? I've had it for a almost a month and a half and still kept the original factory strings which I thouhgt were still in good condition.

Adjust them as you would on a single truss bass, but with 2. So do quarter turns, and make sure you check the straightness across the fretboard as well as down it. If they aren't set up the same, you'll have some wierd side-to-side twisted bowing.
