it's a warwick vette with JAN1 after changing the strings seems like the E is buzzing all along the way open or closed, i have checked all the hardware, nut ,bridge,sadles,tuning keys, whatever has a screw nothing seems to be wrong, any ideas?

|  | Registered User | | Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Fairfield, CA | | | You may have gotten a twist in the string when you put it on, loosen the tuner and get the string to go totally slack, maybe pull on the ball end a little and then re tighten it.
Just be careful it doesn't twist again when u do.

I changed the strings on my 'vette recently and everyone of them worked loose. | i have done that already the E key was loose but it didn't help with the rattle after tighting it up, i also checked the nut but i'm not sure could it be rattling under the E but isn't the string suppose to hold it, i adjusted it and holds the hight perfectly.

take. Sadly, bad strings aren't as uncommon as they should be, and the big ones tend to be the worst offenders...

Does the JAN1 adjust nut height like the JANIII?
Sounds like you need to do a patient step thru a setup. Get relief first, then action, then nut height if you have that adjustment, then intonation.
I presume you've used the stickies on this forum for setup guide. I actually like the Jerzey Drozd the best for my corvette $$.

The JAN1 is brass and you adjust each string separately.

Never worked on one (just going by pics) but have seen buzzzzs caused by loose hardware on similar bridges.
