Emergency help needed! Unintentional Chorus!

I adjusted the intonation on my P bass special. When finished, I noticed a "chorus" effect on the G string starting at the 15th fret on up. No buzzing and none of the frets looks high. What am I missing?

Sounds like your g string is too close to the pickup. Lower the pickup or raise the string.

You know, I feel like an idiot. The J pickup was kinda high. Lowering it just a bit solved that problem. I have never encountered that before!

No problem; I did the exact same thing too. Now we both know
