epiphone eb-0 with low B strin ??? help please.

Sign in to disble this ad
i have an epiphone eb-0 bass strung EADG. i would like to re-string it BEAD.

first...would this be safe and posable ?

second...where could i get a set of short scale strings that are BEADG ( i guess i would need singles ? or a 5 string set minus the use of the G ??)

thanks for all help in advance

sure, you can try it, but that short, lightweight epi bass can barely hold a low E together; a low B will likely just sound like butt.

+1

You'll also need a String-length Customizer ...

Drop-B on a short scale doesn't have a strong record of success.
