Epiphone repair question

I picked up a Power Bass 2 (awhile ago) that I want to tweek in to possibly use as a backup and noticed my G-string was buzzing on the G# fret, and the string was almost touching the fret. After I got my nut off , I noticed the grooves looked quite worn and jagged in the nut (it slid out easily). It looks like a cheap plastic nut that the strings may have cut deeper, unless someone messed with it. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows were I can find a replacement nut that is 40mm x 6mm (1.5" x 1/4). I was looking for specs on this bass and the info is hard to find, but I am assuming this is the original. I would prefer to use a black one, same color as original, but if I have to I will go with white (bone). I am wondering if this size is common to other Epi or Gibsons, like maybe Thunderbird or EB3?
