Question Epiphone Thunderbird IV replacement tailpiece

Sign in to disble this ad
Talk Bassers,
I need help with a problem. The "ears" on the tailpiece of my Epiphone Thunderbird IV bass have broken off, and now the tailpiece is not being held in place by the adjustment screws/posts, since there is nothing to hold. I can't seem to locate a replacement anywhere. Can anyone help? I need one by this Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, if possible, since we have a gig. I could use my backup, but would like to get a replacement by the gig. Thanks in advance for your help.

Send a message via AIM to Nick Ioannucci
just call epiphone and ask how much to express you the parts you need, easiest route if you need it fast, but possibly not the cheapest.

Still Looking for Thunderbird replacement bridge/tailpiece

All,
Thanks to Nick for the suggestion, but I was hoping there was a replacement tailpiece/bridge for a Thunderbird IV out there. Has anyone else replaced their original with another type?

Thanks,

Mark

Thunderbird bridge found!

Aquateen,
That is exactly the part that I need! The order has been placed and might make it here by the gig Saturday, if not I will use one of my backups and install it when it does arrive. Plus now I have a site to refer to for any of my parts needs!
Thanks for your help!
