Ergo bass mounting

Sign in to disble this ad
My ergo 4-string EUB has a loose mounting pin. The bass moves from side to side when I play it which causes annoying noises to be made by the movement. Sent it back to ERGO and they did not fix it. Any help out there?

Same thing with me. This is just the heat glue working loose, i think. Yank out the metal thing, clean as much glue as you can out of it, and then glue back the metal thing with some stronger glue.

Changing the hardware now might be a good idea too, the original cymbal stand is the cheapest one in the lot.

Also this topic is in the completely wrong place.

I pulled the metal piece out, cleaned it off, and remounted it with Gorilla Glue. No problems since the repair.

Can you post a pic to explain the issue? I had a problem with the stand also which I repaired. May be the same issue. For me it was the tension pin that got lose. You can buy a new tension pin from amazon.com and then insert the new pin with some JB Weld.
