| esp ltd b205 Tone problems

Hi im new to the talk bass forums. This is my first post. I have owned a ESP LTD B205 for a couple of years now. Im not very happy with the tone or the noise that came along with it. I was wondering if there is any kind of ajustments or modifications i can to to my bass to make it sound better and to stop the buzzing and noise. It has two EMG-Hz pickups with an active preamp. Any suggestions would be greatly appricitated.
