Everywhere is fine, just the D stirng last frets

Just got hold of a mia 09 P bass. It plays great everywhere except that the string gets muted on the last frets of the d string.

The other strings are fine.... help

Try raising the D string saddle a little bit, and tilting it down toward the treble side to keep with the neck radius.

No problem. FWIW, my '08 P5 has the same issue when I get the action set low. I very small adjustment of the string saddle always does the trick.
