Explorer bass bag

There is absolutly no bag on the market that will fit my Aria Pro II ZZB explorer style bass. Is there any custom bag maker that can help me out with this? Is there any other type of bag (like a keyboard or amp bag) that would fit it with a little modification? Is there anyone else out there with the same problem? Please help.

Same problem here. My ZZB-Deluxe is 54" tip to tip, roughly 2" longer than a T-Bird. Not found anything yet.

Pete.

i think you'd be crazy to put such a big, pointy instrument in a bag. too much risk of breaking off something!

You should see the size of the OHC, I keep getting accused of being a keyboard player! Anyway, the Matsumoku Arias are pretty bomb-proof IME.

Hi.

Welcome to TalkBass mjohansson.

DIY ATA style?

A shameless nudge towards my DIY case thread .

Making a custom case for Epi LTD Explorer

There's been rumours that some bags actually are big enough for Explorers, but I haven't seen one in person. Nor would I be comfortable with one. Too risky IMHO.

A DIY soft case ain't that hard to do either, I'm sure that someone who know can teach You how to sew.
Materials are expensive as hell, especially the good quality zippers, but that's how it is.

Regards
Sam
