The ones I have are 1.25" which is pretty standard. What's the project?

I'm putting a musicman pup into my p bass, I made a school boy error and made the route a little too deep.

My options are longer pup screws or to put a 1/4 filler in the bottom of the route.

I'd say take the ones you have to your local hardware shop and get them to see if they can find anything longer, but last couple of times I went in with any instrument screws they told me they didn't have anything due to them not really being used anymore for DIY kinda stuff, worth a try though.

I'd go with the filler then you never have to worry about pickup screw length again.

Agree. Put a shim in the cavity then attach some pickup foam for support (even if you're using springs). You'll have to notch the shim to accommodate the lead wires.
