FBass owners, or anyone for that matter...check your bridges!

I just thought I'd offer a heads up to any FBass owners (or anyone regarding their bridge (and hardware). I noticed that on mine, the Hipshot B bridge wasn't secured tightly to the body. I could actually slip a sheet of paper under the bridge plate and slide it up to the screws....and that just ain't good...so I grabbed my rusty ratchet screwdriver and tightened the bridge plate screws. Fixed it real good.

And? I noticed a big improvement in sustain, probably because the bridge was actually touching the body for the first time in it's life and was actually doing it's job. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Absolutely...but I bet it's one of those things that sadly doesn't get paid much attention to, even something that can affect the tone so heavily.
