Fender 3 Hole String Thru Bridge Compatibility

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay, stupid question but are the older style 2 saddle, string thru bridges that use three mounting holes like on the old Tele/ '51 Precision basses interchangeable with the newer style Fender American Standard String Thru Bridges (not to mention any of the retrofits;Badass III, Gotoh BB-3575-010, Hipshot etc)?

I'm getting ready to order a bass body to do a build and just wanted to make sure I would have some options if I went the '51 P bass bridge route and changed my mind.
