Question Fender Jazz Bass 24 Deluxe Parts !!???!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi... I have a little problem with my Fender Jazz Bass 24 Deluxe... just two months ago, one of the height screws supporting the saddle on the E string (the ones you use to raise/lower the saddle) fell out ... I been trying to get a replacement but I don't really know what to buy...

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks !!!

These would likely work.

It's likely a METRIC screw, as it's an import bass, but I could be wrong.
I'd go to a store and ask if they have any parts lying around.
Or ask in the classifieds here.

If you have to, you can remove another screw and take it to a hardware store and see if they have a match.
Or Fastenal may have it. They sell nothing but screws and fasteners.

Or go to GC and take one from their basses. No one would notice, as most of the basses there get neglected.
(NOTE: That was a joke. Don't get arrested for stealing a $0.03 screw)

If you have some local shops around you, I'd start there.

Worst case drop $12.99 or $14.99 for a new set of saddles

Buy any cheap bridge in the classifieds. You can find one for just a few bucks.
