Hope you found the chunk that came off and had it glued back on!

I hit my squier on my fan quite often, as I am a tall man and the ceiling is low. This really helped me to develop my colorful language.

Oh, and for those wondering, the fan is doing quite well, only wobbles a little bit...the jolt actually made one of the attatched light bulbs start working again, so when the incident happened I not only heard a loud "THONK!" from above, but suddenly bright light came pouring down on me; it was an eerie moment to be sure. I briefly wondered if I'd been biblically smited.
hahaha

I had the exact same thing happen to my Jazz bass. The fan has metal along the edge, and it took a little chunk out of the back on the headstock. It's not super noticeable, and the bass suffered no other effects from the collision. This same hand also put a nice bloody dent in my right hand, which left a cool y-shaped scar. I should probably wrap those fan blades in foam or something before they take off a head.
