Angry Fender Jazz - Random Decrease In Volume

Sign in to disble this ad
Holy crap, I can't seem to buy a bass that doesn't have a problem with it, and the bass I bought today is apparently no exeption.

I picked up an MIM Fender Jazz today. When I brought it home and started playing it, I noticed a problem. At completely random intervals, the volume of the bass will decrease by about ninety percent. Then it comes back to normal after an abitrary period of time.

What the hell?

Now that's one I never heard before.

If it clipped out completely, I'd think you have a loose wire. But 90%?

Ok techs, weigh in here and help out.
