Fender mex jazz bass - which bridge height adjustment screws?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, guys and gals!

I need a new height adjustment screw for one of the saddles on a 1998 Fender mexico jazz bass, but the online stores all have both metric ones and non-metric ones.

Can someone tell me which kind I should order?

Take a saddle to your local hardware store.

They are cheap. Buy both. Use the one that fits.

USA source....Ace hardware... 1.5 mm found in isle with bolts screws, etc.... .36 cents. You may want to take an existing sample (taped to a business card so it won't get lost) & measure it out. I fairly comfortable w/ 1.5mm but height (?) & as w/ other Mexican products they just might throw an SAE thread occasionally.
