Fender Mustang Bridge on a Fender P Body? Problems?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am thinking about buying a Fender Mustange bridge (I love those things!) and replacing my current Fender Precision Bridge with it.

Besides drilling new holes, would this be a problem?
Would it be too close to the pickgaurd?

Also, if anyone could shop up an example, I would appreciate it.

The string spacing is quite a bit narrower on the Mustang, which may cause an issue...
