Fender neck dive

hey,

i just got a great deal on a Fender CS '64 jazz, but it has a little neck dive. Im thinkin it may dive bc of the massive vintage tuners. ive been lookin at hipshot ultralites. how would one go about having the switch made...help??\

If the mounting screw holes match, just make sure to order tuners with the right diameter shafts for your instrument - remove the tuner screws - install new tuners - re-install screws. If the screw holes don't match, you'll have to CAREFULLY mark and drill pilot holes for the screws.

Hint on inserting screws into hardwood: rub the threads on a block of canning-type paraffin. It will considerably reduce the effort required to insert the screws the first time.

I haven't made this specific tuner switch, so others may have better information.
