Hi All,
I've recently been involved in a restoration project of a 1975 Fender Precision. Modern, standard issue Fender machine heads/tuners don't fit the neck and the last thing I want to do is start drilling holes in an original 1975. Anybody know what will fit? I'm guessing any early 70s original tuners from ebay should do the job, as far as I'm aware there was only type of tuner available when this guitar first hit the market. Will 70s re-issue tuners also fit? Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated. |
