Arrow Fender Red Color Match

Sign in to disble this ad
I found by accident the correct color match for (prolly?) most of the Fender bright red basses - and maybe their 6-string guitars too.

In Duplicolor, their TRUCK/VAN samples, it is #4779.

Just in case someone wants to get that same Fender red in a very tough and durable product.

I just bought three gallons of it to match that sample number for the new paint job on my Amigo (not a bass). Originally I had thought it would be a Corvette color to match the Fender red - but not so.

I'm thinking that three gallons is enough for the bass and a pickup truck to match, plus perhaps a sports car.

I got a really great 3-for-1 deal on stock merchandise at a professional paint shop I use in Riverside.

Yeah - I need to paint my Amigo - and a few coats at that. The Amigo is somewhat small and any paint that isn't hardener-mixed can be kept cold (not frozen) at about 55ºF in an old refrigerator.

I was so impressed by the "Show Your Bass With Your Wheels" post that I decided I'm going to make The December 2010 Bass Quarterly Cover Car and Bass issue.

There you go...matching bass, Amigo, and maybe the garage as well!

I'll be driving through your neighborhood in September. I'll be driving my Amigo visiting my wife's relatives.

Watch for me. I'll wear my cowboy hat.

Remember we're the "Napa valley of beer" here in Fort Collins. Stop by and we'll stalk the wily brewski!

Gads! I know about a few of those beers! One was so thick I thought it was a beer malted.
