Fender repair/setup-Memphis TN area

Sign in to disble this ad
All:

I have a 1976 Fender P-Bass that I need some repair work done. The two primary issues are that the pickups (which appear to be original) are loose in the screw settings and "float" more than they should. Also, there appears to be a short in the cord plug that has caused some problems.

I need a good and trustworthy bass tech to do the repair work and wondered if any of you folks could recommend someone in the area of Memphis TN. I have two other fenders that also need some work, so I am sure I could keep the guy busy.

Thanks in advance.

Bob

Bob-
I would recommend Mike Stoker at Yarbrough's Music (901-761-0414) off of Sycamore View. He is fair minded, does excellent work, and has repaired some things that most guitar techs would run from. I have used him for about 10 years now and have no complaints. He's a great fellow to talk to as well, and knows his basses and guitars.
