Fender steel bridge in black?

Sign in to disble this ad
For my upcoming build (body, neck, tuners on the way) I'm looking for a steel flat plate 4-string bridge for Fender 5-screw mounting. I keep finding fancy aluminum or brass bridges in black, and lots of groovy Fender and other steel bridges in chrome or gold. I did find the Fender MB4 bridge really cheap so I've got one option if the screw spacing is right.

Can anyone recommend me one? I'd prefer it vintage OEM Fender style, ideally with threaded saddles.

Thanks,
Dennis

Good find, not sure how I missed that. I'd planned to use them for pickups anyway, have had great luck with their guitar pickups.

Anybody seen one with threaded-style saddles?

Thanks.

i never have.

it may be that the black coating is too thick to properly cover threaded-rod saddles.

as a compromise, you could maybe get the black bridge and put the chrome threaded saddles on it.
