FENDER VINTAGE BODY & NECK

Sign in to disble this ad
I was wondering If it would affect a lot the stability, tone etc of the instrument If I combine a 1969 jazz bass fretless neck to a 2002 (1975 reissue)american vintage jazz bass body.

thanks in advance

No. A neck's a neck. As long as the neck heel fits the body pocket (it should) then you shouldn't have any problems. Weight should be pretty much the same, too.

Be kind to that neck. It's worth more than the bass you're mounting it on.
