A Few Concerns...

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all. I have an OLP MM2 with a small problem. On my E string, all sounds fine and dandy, with a thick tone and essentially no problems. My other strings, however, are overly bright and they buzz whenever I press down on the frets while playing. Does it have to do with the truss rod or what? My friend took his MIM Fender Jazz in to a music store with the same problem and they did a quick set-up which didn't solve the problem. What should I do?

On an unrelated note, my input jack came loose. How should I fix it?

Thanks guys! I would be lost without TalkBass

Sounds like a set-up is in order...

Find a reputable tech/luthier in your town who sets up instruments and have him take care of you. You will be amazed at the new instrument you will get when he is done. You will feel more like you were given 2 new hands that work a lot better!
