Fighting with my Neuser ...

Sign in to disble this ad
I spent the last couple of weeks trying to restore the setup to a more common low action with only slight relief.

The truss rod seems extremely sensitive, when I tighten it by 1/4 turn, the neck goes from too much relief to way too little, but only within a day or two, is this normal? My other basses don't seem to be as sensitive ..

I get an electronic popping noise when I slap on E or on A, would this have to do with the pickup height? The strings certainly don't touch the pickups ...

Any help will be highly appreciated, thanks!
