Fitting Warwick Just-a-Nut to J Bass neck?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am planning a Warmoth build and was wondering if it was possible (practical is a better word) to fit a Warwick Just-a-nut to a J bass neck? If not, does anybody make adjustable J bass nuts? preferably brass.

thanks!

Should be possible. The only thing you'll need to check is nut width. The Just-a-nut come in a couple of widths for 4 string I believe.

You'd also need to check how 'deep' the nut is (as is looking down on it measuring fretboard to headstock) Some nuts are rather thin in this dimension. Unfortunately Warwick don't give dimensions for this bit.
