Fixing a very light scuff in my bass possible?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all, this is my first post (Yay) as I am a new bass player. Actually I'm completely new . Anyways as my first bass I came to own a "New" Schecter Stiletto Deluxe. I say "New" because it is a B stock so I like to say its new with personal touches but the price was right at $208 shipped and it plays perfect (With minimal set-up) and looks amazing. BUT (There always seems to be one of those huh?) as it is B stock it does have a very light scuff on the bottom back corner. By light I mean if I take my finger nail across it I can't even feel it catch on the scuff, with my eyes closed I wouldn't even know it was there if I felt it. So my question is, is it possible to take a polishing cloth or something of the like and sort of buff it out or am I better leaving well enough alone? As I got such an amazing deal this doesn't bother me one bit, but if I can make it even lighter or possibly buff it out all the better

Thank ya much for your time and suggestions/insight
