Foam tubing for guitar stand padding

I need some of that black foam tubing that is used for padding
on guitar stands. I seem to have a habit of losing it and I hate
to buy more guitar stands just because I'm missing a little foam.
Where can I find this stuff?

I have used black foam pipe insulation from Lowes or Home Depot on a 3 guitar rock stand. Worked great.

I'd be cautious concerning any tubing you place on a guitar stand. I've had marks left on the neck of a bass from from foam material, with no way to remove it other than a complete refinish. I don't know how you would test for something like this, since different foams have different chemical make-ups, just as different instruments have different chemicals used in the finishes on the necks.
