Not sure if this is the right section but what's the best way to clean fretboards. I just got back from holidays and it doesn't look too great. Thanks

use denatured alcohol to clean, and then a good lemon oil to re-seal it. very simple, you can get the de-natured alcohol at any hardware store, and lemon oil is usually available at music stores.

Take a razor blade and scrap a very thin layer of the wood, you wouldn't believe how much gunk is stuck in there. I got this tip from BassPlayer, so I'm not some crazy kid with a blade.
