Fretboard buzz at the upper frets, how to fix?

Sign in to disble this ad
When i play the upper frets, i seem to get some kinda buzz, and fixing the saddles wont help it cos it seems that the string goes downward towards the nut anyway=/ SO is there anyway to fix it? Btw, this is a fretless squier P, just defretted it, havent sandpapered or filled slots yet tho.

that might be why. if not, then put a thick piece of paper between the neck and the neck pocket. if you get buzz in the area around the body, put the paper between the top 2 neck screws.
truss rod adjustment might be another problem.
