On my other post i said my fretboard was comming off...i bought some Titebond(got it all where it needed to be under the board) and clamped it down tonight. how long would be reccomended for keeping the fretboard clamped down? for others who read my other post, i got the money for what i paid for the guitar from him so thats y im trying to fix it...basically a free guitar if its fixed.

I'd leave it at least 24 hours, just to ensure the glue is set and dry.

Probably should have put some wood on both sides of the neck. Be careful you don't dent the fretboard.

I think i will let the thing sit on there for 3 days just to be extra careful. i was just making sure that I didnt have to have it on for 10 days or somethin.

24 hours should be enough although it takes several days for the glue to reach full strength.

I'm glad it worked out.

the c clamps have pads on them...just not on the other side. so they wont scratch the fretboard....but even if it was scratched i wouldnt care too much, im just using this to get used to the bass then im getting a new one.

According to the bottle of Titebond it's 30 minutes, don't stress the joints for 24 hours.

Maybe even more important is the open time before you apply pressure, the glue should be spread and allowed to sit for a specified time before pressure is added. Too soon and all the glue can squeeze out.
