fretboard cleaner

Sign in to disble this ad
Not sure if this is the right place for this question but I was hoping for advice on what the best product to use to clean fretboard on my basses. I tend to neglect that area when cleaning them and now all the sweat, dirt and funk is making them look kind of gross. One is maple the other is rosewood if that makes a difference. Also I have a fretless and I'd like some advice on how to maintain that - someone told me to use lemon oil but I'm not sure. Any advice would be welcome. thanks

I may be wrong but I was always led to believe that lemon oil shouldn't be used on maple.

Works a treat on rosewood though
