Fretboard Epoxying...again. sorry.

Sign in to disble this ad
I've noticed that my rosewood fretless fretboard is wearing down at the heel-end after about only 7 months. I really love that i can get an uprighty woof out of it, would this be drastically changed with an epoxied fretboard? i know it makes for a clearer sound, but by how much?

Thanks,
Chris

It will define your upper mids and highs a bit more and your attack might be a little crisper but if the bass had it before, it will probably keep it, even with the hard fingerboard. You can tune your tone with a different set of strings if you think you need to.
