Fretless frankenbass (J or P/J)

Hiya fellas. Here is my dilemma:

I want to make(assemble) a new fretless bass but can't decide on which body to do it.
I have a Fretless jazz neck (mighty mite-ebonol) and a piezo bridge pickup that I want to use for this project.
Now here's the deal.

Body no.1:
A jazz bass. (2 pickups, Alder)

Body no.2:
A precision jazz bass (P/J, swamp-ash)

Like I said I want to use my fret-less neck, the piezo pickup and put some nylon strings on it (deep talking strings)
I want to get and up-right thud with it but not to trebly (not extremely)

So, any ideas how it might sound in one body or the other? I've never tried a P/J bass before so i don't know what to expect.
any good pickups combinations for the p/j?

PS. I have a P bass with some dimarzio split p pickups... i could also make that one fretless
ahhhh the options.....

I guess my main concern here was that if I put Nylon strings on a P/J bass or a P it would sound way to low, to much bass; That's the reason I was inclining for the J bass but I just would like to get some ideas of the sounds.

How do your nylon sounds on a P or a J? Treble-y, muddy, perfect....
Any input appreciated.
Thanks.

I absolutely love the sound of nylon tapewound strings on my P-J fretless. I use the P pickup by itself.
