Fretless JB setup - Strings parallel to fretboard??

Sign in to disble this ad
I have been in a battle with my Squier fretless jazz bass for a few months now.. I'll start by saying I love the bass but what I really want is the lowest possible action without buzzing. Heard it a million times, I know... But I have a specific question which I haven't been able to find

Also, I'm no stranger to basic setup adjustment to the bass.. But the problem is I don't know what makes a perfect fretless setup or what I want.
