Fretless project! Need help from TBers

Hello friends.
The other day I was looking at my old DeArmond Pilot Pro in disuse. I thought to myself "who could I sell this to?" But I couldn't bring myself to selling it for sentimental reasons. After thinking on it, I made the decision to make a fretless bass out of it.

This is going to be a complete overhaul. I'm going to reshape the body, change the neck, electronics, and pickups. I thought this would be useful not only for myself so that I don't make an ignorant mistake, and also maybe for the benefit of other TBers that might want to take on a similar project.

First things first. The pilot was 35'' scale. If I put a neck on it that is scaled at 34'', do I need to move the bridge to make the distance between the nut and strings on the bridge be 34''? I've been comparing it to my other 34'' basses and I'm not quite sure.

Also, here are the dimensions of the current mounting holes in the body:

I'm pretty sure the pilot is just a mimic off of the fender jazz. If I can get a neck from a fretless jazz or pbass, will these dimensions match the already drilled holes?
