i have been wanting a fretless for a while but i am not able to afford it right now. i have a squire p bass that i was thinking about jacoising. is this very hard to do? or should i just get a new neck without frets?

I did this yesterday and i think it was pretty easy. i put little pieces of tape beside the fret and used a screwdriver(flathead) and pliers. i filled it last night with wood filler(light oak) so the lines would turn out. it worked out good for me but i wouldn't suggest this.as i lost afew little pieces of my fretboard in the process.
