Hi
Had a quick search for the answer to this question, but couldn't find anything!
My L2500 fretless has a little bit too much relief in the neck, I want to give the truss rod a quarter turn, it looks like anti clockwise will do the job, but just wanted to check, anyone?
Cheers

You have it backwards. http://www.tunemybass.com/bass_setup/ |

Remember to just go a 1/4 turn or so at a time and give it a few hours to a day to settle in before adjusting more. The wood will have memory and will take some time to adjust to the trussrod.
Fretless L2XXX's sound awesome. |

Having some problems getting a nice low action though, it just isn't working!
Tried to flatten off the neck a little, still very slight relief when checked at 7th fret (whilst fretted at first and twelth fret) But had a lot of buzzing, ended up lifting the strings until they were about 3mm at 12th fret and still had slight buzz on A string above 7th fret and the E string was worse
Put some more relief back in the neck, still had similar problems, the some more today.
Currently, the relief in the neck, as well as being visible, is easy to see at the 7th fret, strings are 3mm at 12th fret and E string is still very buzzy, slight buzz on A string, D and G are OK until after 12th fret, at this point all strings buzz and dye!
Time for a pro set up now! I really want this bass to work as it has a nice sound (when not buzzing)
Also it's green (don't make me angry green) so if I can get it to work, a refin' will be in order

if so, you need at least a fret level and more likely a refret to fix the dreaded "S-curve", because it can't be corrected with the truss rod.

It is a fretless, so no refret or fret level required!

If I fret at the 1st and 19th fret and check the amount of relief at the 12th fret, it is more than fretting at the 1st and 12th fret and then checking the relief at the 7th fret.
Going to flatten it off a touch again today, once last shot before I take it to a local tech (I'm away most of next week so he has plenty of time to get is sorted)
