| G&L Neck in Fender Pocket?

Sorry if this has been answered in the past, a brief search didn't find it. But, can an older G&L bi-cut neck be fairly easily mounted in a standard Fender-sized body pocket? Of course there's the 3 vs 4 hole bit and I imagine the bridge might need to move forward due to the extra fret on the G&L, but can it be done without excessive body routing? I can answer my own question once the neck arrives I guess, just looking for any others' experience. Thanks, EPS
