Geddy Lee Action

I've had this baby for 2 months now and bought it mail order from Germany (so going back to the store is not an option)
The set up when it arrived was mind blowingly good and all I did was put new XLs on it and off I went gigging and loving every second of it.
The action now seems to be giving a little 'fret buzz' and probably needs the truss rod adjusting. Problem is I have never done it in my life and dont want to mess it up and finding a local expert is as rare as rocking horse droppings so.......
Any experience out there of whether the action will continue to get lower or might it be just settling down. No idea of time scale involved. Kept in very temperate conditions (UK ...It dont get too hot or cold here) and doesnt get played 'hard'.
Appreciate your help guys.

Gary Willis' Site has some good basics on getting started setting up your bass... If you have even a minimum of mechanical skill, (lefty loosey, righty tighty), then setting up your bass is within your reach. Nothing at all to be afraid of. Just take it slow...

The neck probably just needs a little more relief... the Geddy has the truss rod at the headstock, so turn it about 1/4 of the way counter-clockwise. Let the neck sit for a while and make further adjustments if you deem it necessary. Good luck!

Truss rod access is at the heel, not the head on a geddy. You may have to remove the neck and loosen the rod a bit. Go a quarter turn or so at a time. Wait a while, and then recheck.

You might look into routing the body to access the trussrod without removing the neck. I think you would be much less likely to strip the bolts over time.
