I think you'll find that is a Hipshot bridge, not a Gibson one! I think it would probably bolt right on, though.

Since the original Gibson and Epiphone bridges are identical, the HipShot Supertone will work. Just make sure you order the one which covers the third hole in the middle of the original bridge. You can get those bridges for $89 on eBay.

I just ordered this one for my Gibson T-Bird: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Can anyone confirm if these actually sound better than the stock Gibson bridge, or are they snake oil?

Sound? don't open that can of worms! They will definitely drop right on your Epi, many here have done it. Search the Epi Tbird club here and see. The Supertone allows more adjustments in all directions. plus they don't fall apart when changing strings.

The Gibson and Epi three pointers are not Identical and parts are not interchangeable.

The Gibson has a curved top surface to match the board radius and the rear Mounting hooks are thicker. The Epi uses flat body with different heights of saddles to obtain radius. Gibson saddles do not fit the saddle slots of an Epi bridge and vice versa.

Shoot I forgot to mention that the supertone hangs over the sides of the raised centre section of an EPI by a wee bit right where the mounting bolts "bumps" are. Not a big deal to those that want that bridge.
